Africa is History

It is interesting for us to know how we were ten hundred centuries ago. Perhaps the most exact remain is in our original place. Four own cultural characteristics describe the idiosyncrasy of African people: a narrow contact with the nature, living in harmony with it, not still enslaved of the technique; supremacy of the common good front over the individual interest; oral expression used like main instrument for the word and music, and by library and file, the memory; sense of the sacred things: all their traditions reflect a religious vision of the world and shows how their relation with the universe is lived with a great sense of what is sacred. A lot of important truths not to forget.

Solidarity, compassion, equality. You can find there the great richness of people who resist with a lot of belief to be happy with material matters as you are. Life continues and people just go on, people believe in their children so they continue. In Africa there is a lot of sanity out of contamination. Africans on the whole are very healthy people, bodily and morally. Even physically, Africans are very strong, except of course those people who have been hit by famine and war and disease.

Africans are very healthy in mind and fine-looking physically. The traditions in Africa have very sane origins. People are vigorous mentally, and that is part of the tradition and the culture of Africa. People used to live only with this sort of economy: they had one cow or two and they planted things, and they bartered. All we can do in the meantime is to live authentically, to believe genuinely. Not want too much power, to share things. Most of the time it doesn’t come naturally, and yet a lot of people are capable of it. It is in the values of African people, this solidarity, compassion and equality.
